Environmental:
Back in the 19th century, transportation had little effect on the environment compared to the effect on the environment today. The effects were pollution from cars. Of course when cars were invented people didn't think about pollution. Cars in the 1900's were gas guzzlers. There are still gas guzzlers today, but scientists are working to make environmental friendly vehicles. Today there are cars that use alternative fuels, such as electric, solar powered and even cars that burn use vegetable oil. Since the population is high know and cars have become an everyday necessity the amount of pollution generated from the cars has dramatically increase. It’s up to our generation to make environmental sound decisions. |
