Robert Fulton:
Robert Fulton was born in 1765 in Pennsylvania and died in 1815 in New York City. At age 17 Fulton decided to be an artist, but of course that changed. He became an engineer. He is credited with inventing the first successful steamboat. Steamboats were used for shipping, trading, and transporting. |
